Executive Board

Ashley Warner
Co-President

aswarner@sas.upenn.edu

Ashley, a current junior, transferred from the University of Georgia and is double majoring in Earth Science and Political Science.  Thrilled to be living in a city as exciting as Philly, Ashley would definitely agree that transferring is the best decision she has ever made.  A proud Jersey girl, Ashley loves being back in the Northeast (but really misses Georgia’s home-cooked southern meals).  Besides TSO, Ashley is the treasurer of Sparks Dance Company, a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, and Sigma Kappa sorority.  When she’s not studying or running from one club meeting to another, Ashley can be found dancing, hanging with friends, sleeping, watching Netflix, or exploring all that Philly has to offer.

August Gebhard-Koenigstein
Co-President

ageb@sas.upenn.edu

August is a former Ramblin’ Wreck from Georgia Tech, and a proud German-Atlantan. He is currently in his junior year, finishing up his major in political science and his minors in survey research and data analytics, as well as theater arts. When he's not listening to 60's + 70's pop, you can find him working as a research assistant in the political science department, at the front desk of the admissions office, or hanging with the student performing arts community. After graduation, he hopes to enter the world of professional wrestling.

Sarah Cronin

Sarah is a junior transfer from Boston College who came to Penn to pursue a double major in History and Political Science. Outside of TSO, she is involved with The F-Word, The Penn Review, West Philadelphia Tutoring Project, and Chi Omega. Stirling, originally from Annapolis, Maryland, transferred to Penn as a sophomore from Emory University. He is now a junior pursuing a major in the Biological Basis of Behavior program with minors in Environmental Science and Chemistry and on a pre-med track. Apart from TSO, Stirling has involvements with various sustainability focused groups on campus and is a member of the Alpha Iota Gamma fraternity. When he is not studying, Stirling likes to spend his time reading, running, and spending time in the city. His favorite spot, however, is sitting on his couch with his roommate and fellow board member August, playfully ruffling his hair.

Ariana Hurtado

Ariana, a senior in the College majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy, transferred from Miami Dade College (a community college in Miami). She works for the United Nations Association of Greater Philadelphia (UNA-GP) and also does research for the Political Science Department at Penn. Missing Miami and the Latinx community, Ariana decided to join the Latinx Coalition and now serves as their Chair of Programming. Besides academics and extracurricular activities, she loves Philadelphia and all it hard to offer, so you can catch her in the city checking out new coffee shops and places to hang out. Ariana hopes to join the Peace Corps after graduation and focus on youth in development programs.
