Founded by transfer students in 2011, the University of Pennsylvania Transfer Student Organization (Penn TSO) is a community of transfers dedicated to providing academic and social support for its members.
 
Transferring to a new school presents challenges outside the realm of traditional advising and support structures, and thus, TSO was created. 
 
TSO now plays a central role in coordinating and staffing the New Student Orientation for transfers in order to foster relationships and integration into the Penn community.
